This project shows how effective space planning and office design creativity can raise the bar for the concept of traditional office cubicles furniture. The client was hoping to avoid an office aesthetic that was too "business formal.” They wanted to see ideas for computer desk workstations with a casual, warm and welcoming feel for the employees.
We accomplished this goal with our dynamic line of O2 Corporate Office Furniture. We gave the cubicle workstations a warm, upbeat energy with a light & bright office color palette. Crisp snowy cubicle fabric and white trim paint wrap around warm woodgrain desk surfaces.
Each L shaped desk workstation includes a white filing cabinet on wheels and a white mesh office chair. Clear glass cubicle windows along the partition panel tops encourage engagement and conversation – adding plexiglass dividers to collaborative workspace furniture is a great way to remain true to an open concept office layout, with a protective layer of social distancing at a workplace.
We also added smart details like electric sit stand desk surfaces to encourage employee health and wellness, and panel-top shelves that divide the work areas and provide a place to add plants and flowerpots for a touch of nature indoors.
Our office interior design tip: adding lush green plants in and around work areas can help absorb some of the extra sounds and echoes that are a common complaint in an open office environment.
