Our customer had an open plan office, in their Maryland office space, that they wanted to subdivide into a few smaller, more private areas. But, how to divide an open floor plan? To answer this question, our office space planners designed functional spaces using modular office walls. In this case the versatility of these office panels made it possible to create three offices, two workstations, a conference room, an office breakroom, and a guest area with no drywall involved.
The first space is an enclosed office where our office space designers utilized three existing walls and closed off the space with modular office walls, a door with glass insert and a glass sidelight.
On one side of the open office area, several spaces were created using our modular panels, including two private offices. The first office was furnished with a large U-shaped desk, while the second featured a spacious L-shaped office desk.
Between them stands a modern conference room with a warm wood, 8-seater conference table with power outlets, teamed with comfortable conference room chairs with wheels, ideal for lengthy meetings.
In the remaining open office space, we created two workstations standing side by side divided by a fabric office panel to form two distinct workspaces; one with a fair amount of privacy, thanks to its tall panels and another featuring a transaction counter for easy interaction.
On the opposite wall, movable panels were specified to define a small break room. We provided two portable room dividers to enclose two square office tables with break room chairs.
