Statement
Jacobs is one of the world’s largest, most diverse civil engineering firms. They cater to industrial, commercial, and government clients and deliver impactful solutions for everything from intelligence to infrastructure, cybersecurity to space exploration.
The client acquired new office space in Baltimore to dedicate to a large team that would be working on a long-term project for the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). They needed a full scope of office furnishings for over 80 employees: cubicle systems furniture, case goods furniture for private offices, conference room furniture, filing and storage cabinets, and office seating.
A majority of the O2™ cubicle workstations are larger-than-average sized private office cubicles, allowing the engineers plenty of space to spread out and do their work. The business floorplan includes mostly 8’x8’ U-shaped cubicles, some L-shaped 6x8 cubicles, and a handful of 6x6 cubicles for assistants & administrators. 67”H workstation partitions with windows facilitate solo work but let the light flow.
Lining the perimeter of the office floor, private offices get a U-shaped office desk with filing pedestals, plus wall-mounted tack boards and office shelving.
In the large boardroom we connected modular tables to seat up to 24 people. Eight versatile Chandler Office Conference Tables can easily be reconfigured into suitable layouts to accommodate a variety of training sessions and meetings.
We kept warm oak finishes in the meeting rooms, balanced with shades of grey office furniture everywhere else for a crisp, clean office interior.
