Statement
Centers Plan for Healthy Living is part of the Centers Health Care conglomerate. They provide medical & rehabilitative services in almost 30 facilities throughout the Northeast. Their main purpose is to coordinate care for Medicare and Medicaid eligible populations and accommodate short and long-term needs.
They’ve grown significantly over the last several years, and we’ve been with them for every office expansion. This time we got to follow them all the way to the sunny Caribbean, to provide office space planning and interior design in Puerto Rico!
Office furniture logistics can be a little tricky when you’re shipping furniture overseas, but this isn’t the first time our office interiors team has worked in the islands, so we already have a network of freight forwarders and furniture installers ready to go.
This office furnishings project follows the same interior design standards that we’ve done with many locations for Centers in the past: Steelcase Avenir call center cubicles with neutral fabric, light trim, and warm woodgrain laminate work surfaces, and mesh desk chairs.
Centers provides over 80 jobs in San Juan, PR. Most are given a 2’x5’ straight desk in the office layout, with a few managers in 5’x6’ L-shaped workstations. With the entire office surrounded by bright sunny windows and a gorgeous view, any workday will feel like a day at the beach.
